Amazon and I thank you for buying OOBonomics

December 20th, 2009 by Al Lewis (alewis)

I just looked at Amazon.  The overall ranking for OOBonomics is no longer expressed in exponential notation.  More importantly, it ranks as the #84 release in the business book category.   This is quite a feat considering that (1) it is not a business book and (2) it hasn’t been released.

For those of you who aren’t sure whether to purchase a book on “outside of the box” economics because you don’t know if you can “think outside the box,” take this quiz.

In each pairing, the first character is “inside the box,” while the second character is his, her, or its “outside the box” counterpart.  Give yourself one point each time you identify more with the second character.

HOW TO SCORE THIS QUIZ:  Congratulations!  If you’ve read this far, you pass!  Why?   Because you’ve read this far!  That means you’re willing to believe that there is any value whatsoever in scoring a quiz containing random lists of characters, most of which are fictional, and almost a quarter of which are talking animals from the 1960s.  You are clearly outside of the box enough to appreciate a good, creative pop economics book so find your credit card, put OOBonomics in your shopping cart here!, and Proceed to Checkout.
