Guest Post — Defeating Terrorism

It has been said that the Soviet Union fell because they taught their people to think critically.  At one time, the USSR was the largest buyer of pencils in the word, for example.

Today, the internet is the new pencil, the new instrument of education.

So, what if we put the internet into the hands of people who are, right now, being taught to be terrorists?

Let’s defeat terrorists by literally dropping a million satellite-linked internet devices directly into the hands of people around the world.

    It would be a bit expensive, but it might work. Knowledge is power!

    I think it would be cheaper and more productive than building bombs and killing people.
